Walk For Water – Charity walk

30-May-2018 In the heat and humidity of 30th May 2018, 30 dedicated students carried 6 litres of water each for 6km to raise money for ‘Walk for Water’. This is a yearly walk organised by a charity to help the 660 million people who do not have access to drinking water or sanitation, and so have to walk an average of 6km in order to collect it and transport it back home in bottles or buckets. In assembly on Tuesday 26th June, we will hear from the charity organisation how much money we raised and how it will be put to use.  Well done to all who took part!
