Location

The International School Almere is situated 25km outside Amsterdam in Almere-Poort.  This vibrant, new area in the Netherlands is dynamic with many young families moving there to benefit from more space in a structured environment with excellent schools and affordable housing on offer. For more information about Flevoland and the city of Almere click here

In April 2011, the school moved to its new premises.  The school now offers a remarkable teaching evironment to staff and students.  The new building is sustainable with attention to the environment.  The solar panels on the roof of the gym hall provides most of the energy for day to day functioning of the school.

Directions

By Train
Travel by train to Almere Poort Station.
  The school is situated about 5 to 10 minutes walk from the train station.  See the map below.

By Bus
From Almere center, take the Conexxion city bus number 4 in direction Almere Poort to the Middenkant stop. From the Middenkant stop it is a 4 minute walk to the ISAlmere.
